Dumb Laws

Did you know that in Illinois those that are under 21 can drink legally, but they must be enrolled in a culinary program to do so?  Isn’t that strange?  There are ‘Dumb Laws’ that are created for different cities and states in the U.S.A. that most citizens do not even know about.  Are you aware that in Champaign, Illinois, one may not pee in his neighbor’s mouth…OK?  Whoever made this ‘Dumb Law’ up is probably very strange and disturbed to have ever encountered this action.  I figured this is just common sense not to pee in anyone’s mouth…

In Chicago, kites may not be flown within the city limits.  It is also legal to protest naked in front of city hall as long as you are under seventeen years of age and have legal permits.  Alright, well that is just strange.  Some laws in Illinois are almost obvious knowledge not to do.  Law forbids eating in a place that is on fire, it is illegal to give a dog whiskey and it is forbidden to fish while sitting on a giraffe’s neck as well in Chicago.  WHO THOUGHT OF THESE?! I decided to search a random state’s ‘Dumb Laws’ and found some weird yet very disturbing laws.

In Arizona, donkeys cannot sleep in bathtubs.  It is illegal to wear slippers after 10:00 P.M. in New York.  Billboards are outlawed and coins aren’t allowed to be placed in one’s ears in Hawaii.  In the little state of Rhode Island, no one may bite off another’s leg.  Our country has serious issues if anyone has encountered any of these issues.  Some of these ‘Dumb Laws’ are so assumed in my day-to-day life, that I wouldn’t think it would be an issue in our country.  If any foreigner from any other country read some of these ‘Dumb Laws,’ they would think we are crazy-mad U.S. citizens.
